The contents of /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8/cygwin/auto/Git/.packlist doesn't look right. /home/eblake/git-1.4.4.1-1/inst/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8/* Also shouldn't that file go to /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8/cygwin/auto/Git/.packlist I think the /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/ branch is reserved for selfcompiled modules. All other cygwin perl modules seem to follow the vendor_perl convention.
