Yes. ... Oh, you actually wanted more than a yes/no answer? I don't remember. It was a long time ago. I think it mostly built fine OOTB. It may have needed the standard libtool no-undefined modification to get a shared library, but I don't have the build dir around so I don't know. It would be a lot more useful if you actually tried it and then posted the exact errors, if any.
