Removing the drivers and disabling the ethernet OB card in the bios and physically removing the wifi card didn't help. Manually disabling the extra services that run in safe mode with networking and not in normal safe mode didn't make cygwin run either. Could someone advice on how to debug this further. Maybe a link or something.
