When I run grep.exe, it will complain that " system shared memory version mismatch detected - 0x75BE0084/0x75BE009C. This problem is probably due to using incompatible versions of the cygwin DLL. Search for cygwin1.dll using the Windows Start->Find/Search facility and delete all but the most recent version. The most recent version *should* reside in x:\cygwin\bin, where 'x' is the drive on which you have installed the cygwin distribution. Rebooting is also suggested if you are unable to find another cygwin DLL. " is there a way I can set up an environment variable using mount or PATH setting that will make cygwin grep.exe to search c:\mycygwin first before searching x:\cygwin\bin? thanks. tom _________________________________________________________________ Search—Your way, your world, right now! http://imagine-windowslive.com/minisites/searchlaunch/?locale=en-us&FORM=WLMTAG -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
