I'm still not certain why it set my home directory to "c:/Documents and Settings/MyUserID/". Does it use HOMEPATH if HOME is not set? This is what it's set to. HOMEPATH=\Documents and Settings\CHamilto In any case it was relatively easy to change by just editing the passwd file with wordpad and saving it.
