Because it botched the mime types, Thunderbird displayed it as an empty message. Also, we ask for cygcheck output as a text mime type, so that mailers can display it inline; by sending it application/octet-stream, I have to save it to disk and open it in an external program to see its contents (sometimes renaming the file with a .txt extension will help broken mailers give the right mime type).
