You can then copy that distribution anywhere you want and use setup.exe to install on any non-networked machine. See http://www.cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/setup-net.html#id4675192 Basically choose Download from internet on one of the initial pages. Specify some directory to hold the sources, say cygwin-packages On the package list select the all radio button. The cygwin-packages directory will contain a setup.ini, and a directory named after the mirror site you downloaded from. Alternatively you can just rsync off of a mirror, and point setup.exe to that directory. For example, from ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/sources.redhat.com/pub/cygwin For a list of mirrors see http://cygwin.com/mirrors.html If you search the mailing list archives you should find more detailed discussion of how to do non-networked installs.
