I wrote to the e-mail address of the maintainer from the README file, but received a bounce reply. I'm interested in trying or willing to help to update the package to put the documents in the more conventional place. Should I now post an ITP to the apps list, or should I try to do something else first? Apologies if this whole thing should have been asked on the apps list.
