Exactly where were you trying to search for it? The answer to most queries of "where is program foo" is the Cygwin package search page at (also mentioned in the FAQ entry ). You can use Perl regular expressions to get better matches for short names, e.g., "\bscp\b" for a whole-word "scp" search.
