The TEMP handling hasn't been changed for a long time. Also, if I run tcsh and then start a cmd shell, the handling of TEMP looks correct to me: tcsh$ echo $TEMP /home/corinna/tmp tcsh$ cmd Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.
