Haven't we been here before? I would swear that there has been some toggling before between these two options to fix other problems. While I suppose that changes in the past don't necessarily preclude tromping over the same ground now or in the future, presumably it only makes sense to do so if other things have changed to make it worthwhile to consider now. Maybe it's worth a little archive searching before putting much effort into generating alternative package configurations for consideration/use.
