As the GUI to this program uses wxPython, a native Windows approach is the most straightforward. Is there any way to set permissions on the output files from the Windows side that will result in predictable permissions when the output tree is viewed from Cygwin? A Python recipe would be useful, but I'll take what I can get! regards Steve -- Steve Holden +44 150 684 7255 +1 800 494 3119 Holden Web LLC www.holdenweb.com PyCon TX 2006 www.python.org/pycon/ -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
