Note that in your case this had nothing to do with the perl/tk package - it was cygz.dll that needed rebasing. If there was an easy way for this to happen automatically, it would have been done that way a long time ago. I don't think anyone really likes the notion of having to run rebaseall manually but it's a multi-faceted problem. There are past threads that detail all the reasons for this if you're interested.
