I've since changed them to T:\FOO and T:\BAR respectively but that hasn't changed the error message. The packages it's trying to install are: Package Current New cygwin-doc 1.4-2 1.4-3 dejagnu 20021217-2 expect 20030128-1 openssl 0.9.8-2 0.9.8a-1 openssl097 0.9.7g-1 0.9.7h-1 stunnel 4.11-1 4.12-1 This is a new install (less than a week old) on a freshly-built XP Pro SP2 system. The problem started after I'd been using the system for a couple of days. -- Ernie Longmire Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
