If I resume it it seems continue from where it left off, but the problem recurs. The problem doesn't always occur when finishing checking out the first directory. The amount of progress cvs makes before encountering the problem varies. If I manually try to mv the file, it works fine. The output for ls -al for Entries.Backup is: -rw-r--r-- 1 gjones mkgroup-l-d 3011 Aug 16 18:09 ultra/src/acro/CMap/CVS/Entries.Backup and for Entries: -rw-r--r-- 1 gjones mkgroup-l-d 2964 Aug 16 18:09 ultra/src/acro/CMap/CVS/Entries (Yes, I know the mkgroup-l-d group is bogus. I fixed that once and still had the problem, then I tried reinstalling Cygwin and haven't fixed it again.) Cygwin version: 1.5.17-1, I think. CVS version: 1.11.17.
