I does not say that the cygwin pid will be changed to the windows pid for cygwin processes. It does indicate for windows processes the PID is the same as the WINPID and can be used in kill -f. nor does it mention the conflict between -a and -W from ps man page: -a, --all show processes of all users -W, --windows show windows as well as cygwin processes -jason -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - - - Jason Pyeron PD Inc. http://www.pdinc.us - - Partner & Sr. Manager 7 West 24th Street #100 - - +1 (443) 921-0381 Baltimore, Maryland 21218 - - - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- This message is for the designated recipient only and may contain privileged, proprietary, or otherwise private information.
