I use the following compilers: $ g++-2.exe --version 2.95.3-10 $ g++-3.3.exe --version g++-3.3 (GCC) 3.3.3 (cygwin special) Copyright (C) 2003 Free Software Foundation, Inc. This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. I need it. There are third parties out there that use certain compiler version and just won't upgrade. Slight differences in compiler or compiled code can be a factor.
