Catgets is a programming library for issuing messages via a message catalog so a program can speak multiple languages. The library contains the X/Open standard catgets(), catopen(), and catclose() calls. The package also includes the X/Open standard program gencat, which creates a message catalog. Many programs are written to use the standard catgets facility, so this package makes it possible to run those under Cygwin. This is the GNU C library's implementation, adapted to Cygwin.
