Message-ID: <20050606155312.M60368@angui.sh> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII X-Spam-Score: 0 () X-IsSubscribed: yes The system is a machine running WinXP Pro SP2. It is currently using the latest cygwin (1.5.17-1). I setup ssh (installed openssh, ran ssh-[host|user]-config), used priv sep, and launched sshd via cygrunsrv - this all worked fine. Until I noticed that network drives/mapped drives weren't showing up when I ssh'ed into the machine. If I launch a local cygwin login, I see and can access everything under /cygdrive. (/cygdrive/n goes to a netapp filer, works fine). If I log in via openssh, the only item under /cygdrive is 'c'. (/cygdrive/n is not seen at all) If I run 'mount' from both sessions, I only see the network drives under the local session. I tried both a mount created by Hummingbird NFS and 'net use', all had the same results. If I run cygcheck -s, from inside the ssh session, it doesn't see the mounts. (cygcheck attached from inside the ssh session, which is ALMOST identical to the output from a local login except: < n: net HCLNFS 819200Mb 77% CP /vol/vol2/builds The above line is from a cygcheck -s from a local login. ) Cygwin Configuration Diagnostics Current System Time: Mon Jun 06 16:02:54 2005 Windows XP Professional Ver 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Path: C:\cygwin\usr\local\bin C:\cygwin\bin C:\cygwin\bin C:\cygwin\usr\X11R6\bin c:\WINDOWS\system32 c:\WINDOWS c:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem c:\Program Files\Hummingbird\Connectivity\9.00\NFSClient C:\cygwin\bin Output from C:\cygwin\bin\id.exe (nontsec) UID: 1003(release) GID: 513(None) 513(None) 544(Administrators) 545(Users) Output from C:\cygwin\bin\id.exe (ntsec) UID: 1003(release) GID: 513(None) 513(None) 544(Administrators) 545(Users) SysDir: C:\WINDOWS\system32 WinDir: C:\WINDOWS USER = `release' PWD = `/home/release' CYGWIN = `ntsec binmode' HOME = `/home/release' MAKE_MODE = `unix' Use `-r' to scan registry a: fd N/A N/A c: hd NTFS 40946Mb 11% CP CS UN PA FC d: cd N/A N/A C:\cygwin / system binmode C:\cygwin/bin /usr/bin system binmode C:\cygwin/lib /usr/lib system binmode . /cygdrive system binmode, cygdrive Found: C:\cygwin\bin\awk.exe Found: C:\cygwin\bin\bash.exe Found: C:\cygwin\bin\cat.exe Found: c:\Program Files\Hummingbird\Connectivity\9.00\NFSClient\cat.exe Found: C:\cygwin\bin\cp.exe Not Found: cpp (good!)
