If you can't do that then sshd still has a - problem. If you can connect to localhost that proves that sshd is running okay on the cygwin - machine. - yes, ssh localhost works fine, (but isn't it working with loopback device instead of eth0??) - If you use the -v option you will get debug information that can be of help. Use this command: - ssh -v host_name - - where "host_name" is the name of the machine. Last login: **************** from ************* what do you think? why ssh does not work fine as server on CM? ssh works fine on LM both as client that as server (I proved it several times with other LM). other LM can't connect to CM via ssh too.
