When I start emacs, many emacs processes (over 1000) were forked until they ran out of system resource, and then they die. This also happened to "clear" command. So it doesn't seem specific to a particular program. I wonder whether there are some mismatches between 32-bit/64-bit in my cygwin installation/setting, or it hits a known problem in cygwin on 64-bit windows. What is a fix/work-around on this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
