Besides that, looking at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/bash/bash-3.0- patches/, I see 16 patches. I hope all of those will be applied to a Cygwin bash 3.0 package. Unfortunately, none of those patches appears to fix the extra-space- after-the-prompt bug, reported at http://mail-index.netbsd.org/pkgsrc- bugs/2005/03/25/0002.html. I just built bash 3.0 from source, and yes it does compile OOTB, but the extra space bug, which was reported to have been fixed in 2.05, is back. http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2003- 09/msg00926.html says the bug will be fixed in 2.05, but I haven't seen the patch there or anywhere else to fix it. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
