While trying to install, i chose the packages by hand, which also includes gcc-core, and g++. While i try to use gcc, however, the shell cribs by saying: gcc: installation problem, cannot execute 'cc1': no such file or directory. I tried to look at mail archives, but could not get much help. I tried to check status using cygcheck(cygcheck -c gcc), the package information is blank. I did a find, and i could see cc1plus.exe sitting in /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.1/cc1plus.exe. I looked in the Cygwin package list on the homepage, and found that the file is supposed to be there as part of gcc-core package 3.4.1-1, sitting as usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.1/cc1.exe Can somebody help me with the problem?
