And really, having a look at the source mt-2.3-1/mt.c shows: ... {0x22, "QIC-2GB-DC (DC 9250)"}, {0x24, "DDS-2"}, {0x26, "QIC-4GB-DC (SLR 5)"}, ... In comparison, e.g. mt_st v0.7 which comes with SuSE 9.1 knows much more. Now, is Cygwin's mt unmaintained since even before DDS-3 tapes were introduced?
