Cygwin is an open source Linux-like environment for Windows. It consists of two parts: - A DLL (cygwin1.dll) which acts as a Linux API emulation layer providing substantial Linux API functionality. - A collection of tools, which provide Linux look and feel. As such, it doesn't have any VPs or Directors for the project. ;-) If you're looking for a support contract for Cygwin, see If you emailed this list in error, ignore the above. ;-) -- Larry Hall http://www.rfk.com RFK Partners, Inc.
