From: Robert Mark Bram Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=utf-8 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Date: Sun, 07 Nov 2004 18:22:05 +1100 Message-ID: User-Agent: Opera7.23/Win32 M2 build 3227 Hi All! I have started my remote X session with the following export DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0.0 PATH=/usr/X11R6/bin:$PATH eval `ssh-agent` rm -rf /tmp/.X11-unix XWin -screen 0 1024 768 & ssh -X user AT host But the window that opens up doesn't give me functionality to move sub-windows around.. so that when I open a gui, it remains static on the screen, giving me no way to move or re-size it. Is there another option or library I need for this? And would it slow the system down even more? I make do most of the time with just ssh and no x, but there are some gui apps I have remotely that are very useful. Thanks for any advice!
