This fixes only a minor problem with the patch in the src package, as reported here: http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2004-10/msg01222.html The binary package is effectively the same. Note: There seem to be some bugs with clamd, which Mark Pizzolato is investigating. Stopping and restarting the daemon is problematic for sure. The non-daemon versions do work fine. If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin mailing list at: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com. To update your installation run setup.exe. Click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system.
