How about "getfacl /usr/bin/perl5.8.5.exe"? When you do "ls -lLn /usr/bin/perl", do you see 15865 as the owner, or some other id? What is your SHELL set to in the Makefile? Does perl work from the command line in zsh (which seems to be your SHELL)?
