Try the following patch.sed: s/^\.YODLTAGSTART\./\.YYODLTAGSTART\./ s/\.YODLTAGSTART\./\r\.YODLTAGSTART\./g s/ *\.YODLTAGSTART\. roffcmd // s/\.YYODLTAGSTART\. roffcmd // s/\.YODLTAGEND\.// s/\n\.YYODLTAGSTART\..*// You may also need to add a space before the \.YODLTAGEND\. pattern, but I think that's not necessary.
