So I go to the environment vars from the my computer properties dialog but I can't find an entry for HOME in fact when I type set I get a MUCH longer list of environment vars than I see in the dialog box. I also looked in the cygwin.bat file and all that is in there is this... @echo off C: chdir \cygwin\bin bash --login -i so where might that HOME var be getting set?
