See if this helps: http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2004-04/msg00176.html if not, try running rebaseall after reading this: /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/rebase-2.3.README if that still doesn't help, please follow the problem reporting instructions here: http://cygwin.com/problems.html and report back the results of all the above.
