I must be doing something really stupid, but I've checked the docs and searched the mailing list and I can't figure it out. I've got WinXP and cable modem. IE, email, Mozilla, all connect to the internet just fine. setup tells me it can't connect to the internet. I tried both direct and using IE settings. BTW, when I enter http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/mirrors.lst as the URL in IE it displays fine. Here is my complete setup.log.full file: 2004/03/28 08:28:27 Starting cygwin install, version 2.416 2004/03/28 08:28:27 Current Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop 2004/03/28 08:28:27 Changing gid to Users 2004/03/28 08:28:27 Could not open service McShield for query, start and stop.
