When I came back, I downloaded a few more files from another mirror.I could not access the first mirror. Then I did an "Install from Local" and it seemed to be OK but openssl was not present. Then I did an "Install from Local" (again) but "man" did not work. Then I did an "Install from Local" (a third time), and the man page started working. Searching install.log and install.log.full reveals that they are acknowledged but not installed. Running a dir finds the files were downloaded during the second download from the second mirror c:\...\cygwin\ftp%3a%2f%2fcygwin.csie.ntu.edu.tw%2f/pub%2fcygwin\openssh-3.8p1-1.tar.bz2 c:\...\cygwin\ftp%3a%2f%2fcygwin.csie.ntu.edu.tw%2f/pub%2fcygwin\openssl-0.9.7c-1.tar.bz2 Two questions: Does installation of openssh and openssl require direct intervention? Should "Install from Local" have picked them up?
