It has several lessons for different keyboard layouts and in different languages. The lessons for gtypist are described in a easy-to-learn scripting language that the user can use to modify the existing lessons or create new ones. This package includes typefortune and an emacs major-mode, which are used to edit and create new gtypist lessons. These require perl and emacs if you wish to use them. Otherwise, they are not needed for running gtypist itself.
