There were so many "problem" msgs in this ng about Cron, I was
defeated in advance. It's good netiquette to let the NG know which
solution solved it for you.

I was also initially confused by the man & info pages which made no
mention of the necessity to run cygrunsrv --install cron -p
/usr/sbin/cron -a -D

Where should I have started looking for this info?
