Better late than never !-] An updated version of zsh has been released and should be at a mirror near you real soon. Zsh has had some internal code restructuring to handle some newer things which will be comming down the line later in the dev cycle. The 4.0 branch is now closed and will not be developed any further (ending with version 4.0.7). 4.1 is the new major branch. Changes include: - built with cygwin-1.5.5. - additional/new command completion functions. - zsh now supports Large File access and 64-bit types. - zsh is now built with the pcre regex package to handle all of your regular expression needs (like filename pattern matching, etc). - zsh is now built with ncurses instead of termcap. - files are now installed according to the Filesystem Heirachy Standard (FHS) (meaning documentation is under /usr/share). This is actually a fix from the 4.1.1-1 release. To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions. If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin mailing list (see http://cygwin.com/lists.html). *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
