If so, then please test this release and report back to list whether or not the rcfile permission check is truly disabled on your platform. If fetchmail doesn't display an error message like the following: File /home/jt/.fetchmailrc must have no more than -rwx--x--- (0710) permissions. then it's functioning properly. If it does, then it's not.
