I am using cygwin to cross compile the real-time program for a PPC based single board computer. The OS for the SBC is eCos. Using the most recent version of cygwin I CAN compile the real-time program but it does will not execute on the SBC. I have not explored the issue any further because I needed to get going so I just used the old version of cygwin. Now, I will explore this issue further and report back.
