Steve, FWIW, I've posted instructions on how to run a program from setup recently (but can't find the actual message at the moment). To summarize, simply create a shell script named BLAH.sh that calls that program (you may need to call it through bash, too), put it in /etc/postinstall, and run setup in "Keep" mode. The script will be run during the postinstall phase (even though you won't install anything).
