I expect it may have something to do with needed to rebuild some of the libraries for the new CygWin, but everything not from the CygWin install has been compiled locally. Simple example: #include int main(int argc, char ** argv) { printf("Hello\n"); return(4); } gcc -mwindows -o hello hello.c gives: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: warning: cannot find entry symbol _WinMainCRTStartup; defaulting to 00401000 Simple solution :)?, JES -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
