This is a bugfix release relative to 2.05b-14, and fixes the bug reported in http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2003-09/msg00822.html The applied patch is temporary and will be replaced by a more permanent (less kludgy) solution later. To update your installation: =========================== Run the Setup utility from http://cygwin.com/setup.exe and pick up the proper packages. Problem reports: =============== Please send reports of any problems related to these packages to cygwin AT cygwin DOT com and *do not* mail me personally. I moniter the list on a regular basis. Old News: ======== Bash is an sh-compatible shell that incorporates useful features from the Korn shell (ksh) and C shell (csh). It is intended to conform to the IEEE POSIX P1003.2/ISO 9945.2 Shell and Tools standard. It offers functional improvements over sh for both programming and interactive use. In addition, most sh scripts can be run by Bash without modification.
