While starting bash I get following error message: "Error (2): The system cannot find the file specified." Bash starts successfully but the error msg is a little bit annoying. It seems the reason is that Cygwin assumes I have printers in the system. /etc/profile runs regtool which prints the above error message if key cannot be found: `regtool get '\user\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\Device' The error message disappears if adding "-q" (quiet) to parameters. This might be a FAQ but I didn't succeed in finding it on the net. If not done already maybe it could be fixed in the next release? I'm running: CYGWIN_NT-5.1 desktop 1.3.22(0.78/3/2) 2003-03-18 09:20 i686 unknown unknown Cygwin Best regards, Tero _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8.
