Message-ID: <3F385B92@webmaila.hku.hk> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-WebMail-Urgent: Y X-Priority: 1 X-MailScanner: 0 Hi there, I've come across a problem for long; i.e. root AT JFU ~ $ inetd --install-as-service root AT JFU ~ $ net start "cygwin inetd" The service is not responding to the control function. More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2186. root AT JFU ~ $ cp /bin/cygwin1.dll /usr/sbin/ root AT JFU ~ $ net start "cygwin inetd" The CYGWIN inetd service is starting. The CYGWIN inetd service was started successfully. Could anyone give me an idea such that I no longer need to keep /bin/cygwin1.dll as well as /usr/sbin/cygwin1.dll for /usr/sbin/inetd? It's always a problem whenever I have cygwin1.dll update since I need to manually make a copy of /bin/cygwin1.dll in /usr/sbin. Thanks.
