Since id tells you that you log in as "Administrator", you must have that entry in /etc/passwd to be able to use that login in telnet. As for not being able to log in as "insite", are you able to log in into Windows with that name? BTW, from the presence of SIDs I'm assuming you're running an NT/2k/XP system. Igor P.S. You could try checking whether sshd works, too...
