I don't have the skills to patch cygwin, however
getaddrinfo.c can be found in
ftp://ftp.linux-ipv6.org/pub/usagi/snap/kit/usagi-linux24-s20030707.tar.bz2

in the directory usagi/usagi/libinet6

getaddrinfo.c needs to patch netdb.h also to add some
definitions (the new netdb.h is in the include_glibc22
directory)
