I probably wouldn't even have noticed that less defaulted to this if not for the fact that it started reporting that the terminal wasn't fully functional. Setting 'el=\E[K' to the terminfo file seems to make less work, and it seems to be the right thing to do for terminfo/ncurses. If this makes sense, could it be included in the next ncurses release?
