The error message on running:

rsync --rsync-path=/usr/bin/rsync --progress --stats
10.9.3.100:/cygdrive/g/test.pit

is:

link_stat /cygdrive/g/test.pit : No such file or directory
client: nothing to do: perhaps you need to specify some filenames or the
--recursive option?
rsync error: partial transfer (code 23) at main.c(594)
