I have been puzzling over why zip could not be invoked from my default directory (nor found by "type zip") even though it could be invoked from a higher or lower directory or as zip.exe. After reading this thread, I removed subdirectory "zip" from my root and the problem vanished. This occurred with XP Pro and a recent installation of cygwin. On Windows 98 and and old installation, the problem does not occur. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
