Do you think you could expend maybe just a little effort and try to find
cygcheck.exe on your computer?  Do a Windows Find/Search/whatever to find it.

You did actually *install* the packages you got, right?  You didn't
just click on the "Download from Internet" link when you ran setup.exe,
right?
