And what does this have to do with aliases not being exported?  FWIW, the
UIDs on all 3 accounts are different...

Could you please attach your .bashrc (if you did and I missed it, I
apologize).  Also, please attach the output of "cygcheck -svr".  Please do
not paste either in-line, as there may be special characters that matter.
